Skiing with Tyson
Tyson and I went skiing yesterday and had a blast. The sun was out, little wind and the lines weren't too long. I have to admit that we're a bit spoiled by skiing in Utah. Snoqualmie Summit seems so small and the runs so short after some of the other places we've been, but it's nice to have skiing so close (40 minutes). Ty has gotten stronger and is now a better skier than I am. (Not saying a lot, I'm afraid) At one point, he flew by me so fast I hardly recognized him except for the red streak he left with his head sock. :)
Conditions were excellent. I thought this view was stunning. Thought I'd share it. I have it as the background on my computer. (To see a bigger shot, click on this one.) Part of the beauty of skiing is the scenic surroundings and this day was definitely standout on that count.

We got him a snowboard outfit yesterday as a belated Christmas gift. Tony was very excited to have a snowboarding buddy.
