Vacation at Brighton

Every year for the last five years we've driven to Utah and stayed at one of the Brighton cabins close to the lifts. These are the best vacations. Everyone in the family enjoys them and we always look forward to the next one.
This year is no different. The snow is great, the weather fantastic, the cabin this year is especially comfortable and just across the street from the lift.
This is the last year that Lindsey will be with us on this vacation. We're thinking how we can arrange it next year so she can at least be with us for the weekend.
There is pool table at this cabin. Sarah is the most excited about it. I honestly didn't think the kids would really appreciate it, but they have been playing quite a bit. When we arrived, all the pool cues had lost their tips. I told the kids they can't play because the pool cues might tear the felt on the table. We found some tips but there was no glue. Later, Sarah came up to me, all excited like she is sometimes and showed me that she had found some glue. She was so proud and I was so happy for her. We glued the tips onto the cues and they have been playing regularly now. I was happy to see Jenny and Amanda working on a puzzle together. Last night when I went to bed, Mom, Tyson, Amanda and Jenny were doing the puzzle. Lindsey was doing homework.
The skiing is a blast. I went out with Amanda, Tony, and Tyson yesterday. Amanda is really improving. She's skiing parallel now and has more confidence. Tony is a maniac and spends the whole day on the slopes if she can. Tyson is now boarding quite well. He carves even on some of the steeper slopes.
We got separated towards the end. We couldn't find Amanda. So, we decided to go back up and try to find her on the way down. I flew down pretty quick. I was concerned about Amanda and didn't want her to think we abandoned her. Right as I got back down to Crest Express, I saw Amanda skiing away from the lift line. I called to her and she cheerfully greated me. I said, lets go back up and she said OK. She wasn't angry or anything. She just seemed happy to see me. We made one more run and went back to the cabin.
This morning we all plan to go out together.
